Ambassador of Uzbekistan discusses prospects for developing cooperation with the Director General of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry

ABU DHABI, July 9. /Dunyo IA/. Ambassador of Uzbekistan Umid Shodiev, has met with the Director General of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ali Muhammad Al Marzouqi, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
During the course of the meeting, the interlocutors discussed the strategic prospects for the further expansion of Uzbek-Emirati cooperation across trade, economic and investment spheres, alongside solidifying engagement between the business communities of the two nations.
Ali Muhammad Al Marzouqi highly commended the exceptional organization of the 5th Tashkent International Investment Forum, held on June 16–18, 2026, emphasizing that the practical execution of the agreements reached within its framework will significantly contribute to the further development of Uzbekistan's economy.
Following the conclusion of the meeting, mutual agreements were institutionalized to organize joint business forums and high-level roundtables featuring representatives from the business communities of both nations. These events will be synchronized with the official missions of Uzbek delegations, including representatives from regional Khokimiyats, to the UAE, scheduled for September–October of the current year. The sides reaffirmed their mutual interest in the continuous expansion of trade-economic and investment cooperation, declaring full readiness for the operational execution of all negotiated frameworks.
