Uzbek-German business forum organized in Stuttgart

STUTTGART, April 17. /Dunyo IA/. The Embassy of Uzbekistan, in cooperation with the German Association of Textile and Knitwear Companies Gesamtverband der deutschen Maschenindustrie e.V. (Gesamtmasche), held an Uzbek-German business forum in the city of Stuttgart, reports a Dunyo IA correspondent.

The event was attended by representatives of well-known German companies such as H&M, GermanFashion, Onetex e.K., and Teamdress Stein Deutschland GmbH, as well as around 50 leading enterprises from Uzbekistan, including Fazman Tekstil LLC, Samo Crystal Color Textile, OFS, Mustang MChJ, Jizzax Toshtepa Tekstil, Narimteks, Iftihor Kiyim Sanoat, Bunyodkor Textile, Baht-Textile, Ideal Navbakhor Tekstil, and Kitob Yarn Spinning JSC.
Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Germany, Dilshod Akhatov, delivered a keynote address titled "Uzbekistan – Germany: Prospects for Cooperation in the Textile Industry." He particularly outlined Uzbekistan’s competitive advantages in the sector, highlighting the presence of a large domestic market, fast and duty-free access to CIS and European markets, strong production capabilities, investments in education and workforce training, and a favorable business environment that includes tax incentives, investment benefits, and special industrial zones. The Ambassador concluded his speech by inviting German companies to actively engage in mutually beneficial cooperation with Uzbekistan.
In a framework of the forum, the Uzbek delegation provided detailed information to German partners about new investment projects and high-quality export-oriented products manufactured in Uzbekistan.
The parties also discussed the possibility of arranging visits by German textile companies to the Tashkent, Samarkand, Namangan, and Fergana regions. In addition, agreements were reached on organizing targeted visits of Uzbek business representatives to Germany.
The forum also featured B2B meetings between company representatives, further facilitating direct business connections and future partnerships.
