Uzbekistan and Denmark discuss prospects for expanding trade and economic cooperation and establishing direct contacts between the business communities of the two countries

STOCKHOLM, September 19. /Dunyo IA/.   Embassy of Uzbekistan in Stockholm organized an online meeting with representatives of the Confederation of Danish Industry, Danish companies and relevant ministries, agencies and industry organizations of Uzbekistan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Event was attended by representatives of leading Danish companies, including “FLS”, “Maersk”, “Scan Global Logistics”, “Copenhagen Airport”, “AVK”, “Grundfos” and “Carlsberg”.

During the meeting, the parties discussed expanding trade, economic, investment and technological cooperation between Uzbekistan and Denmark, as well as strengthening direct contacts between the business communities of the two countries.

Representatives of Danish companies expressed interest in the development potential of the Uzbek market, the growing economic role of Central Asia, and opportunities for regional cooperation.

Transport and logistics, aviation, water and heat supply, energy efficiency and industrial cooperation were highlighted as promising areas for interaction. The parties exchanged views on implementing modern technologies, developing infrastructure, and executing mutually beneficial business projects.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to continue the dialogue between interested companies and develop practical cooperation, including through the organization of mutual business missions.
