Indian business delegation arrives in Uzbekistan

NEW DELHI, April 9. /Dunyo IA/. A large delegation of Indian businessmen and entrepreneurs arrived in Tashkent yesterday, reports the correspondent of Dunyo IA.

The delegation's program, organized by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in New Delhi and the Business Council of the Indian state of West Bengal, includes a series of events aimed at further enhancing bilateral business ties and implementing new joint projects.
On April 7, during a roundtable discussion held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, the parties exchanged views on establishing partnership relations between the business communities of Uzbekistan and the state of West Bengal. Discussions focused on jointly developing competitive and in-demand products for the market and exporting them to third countries, as well as other promising areas of mutually beneficial cooperation.
The delegation, which includes representatives from the textile, leather and footwear, chemical, pharmaceutical, jewelry, construction materials, information technology, education, and other sectors, will travel to the Samarkand region.
During their visit to the region, they will participate in the Uzbek-Indian Business Forum in the city of Kattakurgan and present practical proposals for advancing bilateral trade and economic relations to a new level.
They will also visit industrial enterprises in the Samarkand region, including those in the Urgut Free Economic Zone, where favorable conditions for international cooperation have been created.
The delegation is expected to visit the Pharmaceutical Park in Tashkent region and explore the prospects for further bilateral cooperation.
