• 211NEW YORK, May 8. /Dunyo IA/. A concert by the world-famous Uzbek pianist Behzod Abduraimov took place at the legendary “Carnegie Hall”, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
“Carnegie Hall”, located in the heart of Manhattan, is one of the most prestigious venues for classical music in the world. Opened in 1891, the famous concert hall continues to host the world's leading performers and musical ensembles to this day.
The creative event, organized with the support of the Permanent Mission of Uzbekistan to the UN, was attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps, business and cultural circles, as well as numerous classical music enthusiasts in the USA.
The concert program included works by great composers - Brahms, Czerny, Liszt, Debussy and Stravinsky - presenting the audience with a selection of immortal masterpieces of world classical music.
The performance in New York generated great interest among the public and became another important contribution to strengthening international cultural and humanitarian ties and promoting Uzbekistan's rich cultural heritage.
Following the concert, Uzbekistan's diplomats organized an official reception attended by the pianist, permanent representatives of UN member states, and members of American socio-political and cultural circles.
