“Finančné Noviny”: Agreements between Uzbekistan and Belarus on Transport Connectivity and Transit to promote Economic Resilience across the Eurasian Region

BRATISLAVA, August 6. /Dunyo IA/. Slovak specialized publication “Finančné Noviny” has published an analytical article entitled “Areas of Cooperation between Belarus and Uzbekistan in Strengthening Sustainable Transport Corridors in Eurasia”, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Article notes that, amid the current geopolitical and geoeconomic environment, the development of sustainable and alternative transport and logistics routes across Eurasia is becoming increasingly important. In this context, practical cooperation between Uzbekistan and Belarus plays a particularly significant role, as the two countries serve as important transit links between Central Asia and Eastern Europe.

Article also examines the steady development of trade and economic relations between the two countries, as well as their joint initiatives to establish new logistics routes and modernize the existing transport infrastructure. Particular attention is given to the effective use of the potential of the “North–South” Transport Corridor and other Eurasian transit routes, as well as to the importance of multilateral projects aimed at reducing cargo transportation time and costs.

Slovak publication also emphasizes that the agreements reached between Uzbekistan and Belarus in the areas of transport connectivity and transit will contribute not only to increasing the volume of bilateral trade, but also to strengthening economic resilience across the Eurasian region.
