Kuwait calls for stronger political dialogue to promote sustainable development

KUWAIT, June 7. /Dunyo IA/. Kuwaiti Minister of State for Development and Sustainability Reem Ghazi Al-Fulaich took part in the plenary session of the Second Termez Dialogue dedicated to the connectivity of Central and South Asia, reports Dunyo IA correspondent, citing with the “Times Kuwait” newspaper.

In her online address, the Minister of State emphasized the importance of regional integration and the need to further expand cooperation between the states of the region. She noted that strengthening partnerships in trade, transport, logistics and energy will contribute to ensuring regional stability and shared prosperity.

According to Reem Ghazi Al-Fulaich, Kuwait prioritizes investment in “smart” infrastructure, strengthening food and water security, improving supply chains, and supporting the transition to a green economy.

The Kuwaiti Minister of State emphasized that sustainability should be viewed as a comprehensive approach that includes not only economic growth but also the conservation of natural resources and ensuring the well-being of the population.

In addition, she called for continued political dialogue between states, the exchange of experience, and the strengthening of strategic partnerships to jointly find solutions to common challenges and achieve the sustainable development goals.
