Polish Sports Magazine highlights the landmarks and achievements of Uzbek Football

• 82WARSAW, June 26. /Dunyo IA/. Prominent Polish sports magazine “Skarb Kibica” (“Treasure of the Fans”) has published a feature article dedicated to the history and contemporary development of football in Uzbekistan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
Publication highlights the national team's historic, first-ever qualification for the World Cup, the notable successes of youth national teams on the international arena, the profiles of the national squad's key players, as well as the long-term prospects for the further development of Uzbek football.
Magazine dedicated special attention to the role of the Tashkent club “Pakhtakor: in the formation of national football. The 1979 air disaster, in which the club's team tragically perished, is also mentioned. This tragedy is described as one of the heaviest pages in the history of Uzbek sports.
“Skarb Kibica” underscores that the successes of the national, youth, and junior teams demonstrate the progressive development of football in Uzbekistan and establish the prerequisites for new achievements on the international arena.
