Egyptian Media: Uzbekistan Strengthens Its Position as a Reliable Partner for International Business

CAIRO, October 1. /Dunyo IA/. The Egyptian publications Al-Awsat Al-Alamiya and Al-Khabar Al-Youm have published analytical articles on the outcomes of President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s open dialogue with entrepreneurs in Khiva, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The publications emphasize that the meeting in Khorezm demonstrated Uzbekistan’s progress toward establishing strong institutional and legal guarantees for foreign investment. The international business community positively assesses the country’s economic dynamics, with the number of business entities exceeding 530,000 and 2.4 million jobs created in the private sector.

The articles analyse new measures to support businesses, including an additional $100 million allocated for credit guarantees, grants for innovative startups, subsidies covering 50 percent of the costs of placing domestic products on international marketplaces, and the introduction of a “one-stop shop” principle for assessing tax risks. Particular attention is paid to the protection of private property, reducing the administrative burden, developing the green economy, and establishing industrial clusters with turnkey infrastructure.

The publications note that, driven by systemic reforms, Uzbekistan is strengthening its position as a key, reliable, and predictable investment hub in Central Asia.
