TASHKENT, May 6. /Dunyo IA/. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov held a meeting today with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia Marko Đurić, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

“Had constructive and substantive talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, H.E. Marko Đurić, today at the Ministry, - the head of the MFA of Uzbekistan wrote on his Telegram-channel. - Discussed further intensifying the political dialogue between Uzbekistan and Serbia, expanding trade and economic cooperation, advancing investment projects, and strengthening ties in transport, industry, tourism, as well as cultural and humanitarian fields.

Underscored the importance of continuing close and systematic cooperation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of our two countries, further activating mechanisms of political consultations, and promoting new joint initiatives.

Particular attention was given to enriching with practical substance the agreements reached at the highest level, ensuring the implementation of the tasks set by our Heads of State, and thoroughly preparing for upcoming high-level visits.

We highly value Serbia as one of Uzbekistan’s reliable partners in Europe. We are confident that the current momentum in bilateral relations will elevate our partnership to a new level”.
