TASHKENT, May 2. /Dunyo IA/. Yesterday, a charter flight from the United States landed at Tashkent International Airport, carrying 26 citizens of Uzbekistan who were deported for violating U.S. migration laws, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The return of the compatriots was the result of coordinated cooperation between the competent authorities of Uzbekistan and the United States. Within the framework of bilateral cooperation, all organizational and legal procedures were promptly agreed upon, including the identification of citizens, the processing of documents, and the assurance of safe transportation.

Uzbekistan continues its interaction with foreign partners on migration issues on a permanent basis, including the prevention of migration law violations and the protection of the rights of Uzbek citizens abroad.
