FERGANA, October 6. /Dunyo IA/.  Governor (Khokim) of the Fergana Region Khayrullo Bozorov, received a delegation from Germany led by Irina Heß, Project Manager for Eastern Europe and Central Asia at “Landesentwicklungsgesellschaft Thüringen mbH” (LEG Thüringen) - state development agency for the Federal State of Thuringia, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the meeting, parties reviewed the current state of cooperation between the Fergana Region and the Federal State of Thuringia, as well as prospects for imbuing the partnership with new practical substance and further expanding economic and investment ties.

Parties noted that regular visits in recent years, alongside the direct contacts being established between regions, companies and business circles, strengthen the practical foundation of bilateral interaction.

It was emphasized that such contacts are vital not only for opening new business opportunities but also for exchanging experience and forging long-term partnerships.

During the negotiations, a detailed exchange of views took place on expanding cooperation in promising areas, developing and implementing new investment projects, as well as establishing direct business ties between enterprises of the Fergana Region and companies of Thuringia.

German delegation expressed interest in the economic potential and business opportunities of the region and declared its readiness to further expand cooperation.

In this regard, proposals were put forward to organize a subsequent visit of a Thuringian delegation to the Fergana Region, conduct direct meetings with representatives of local business, and form new mutually beneficial joint projects.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to intensify mutual visits, expand direct contacts between business circles, imbue existing ties with new initiatives and projects, and further develop cooperation between the Fergana Region and the Federal State of Thuringia toward achieving concrete, practical results.
