SEOUL, July 30. /Dunyo IA/. South Korean publication “Diplomacy Journal” has published an analytical article dedicated to the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the publication, the political dialogue and mutual trust between the neighbouring countries have strengthened at an unprecedented pace in recent years. The historic and mutually beneficial settlement of all border disputes has established a solid foundation for boosting trade, ensuring free movement and enhancing economic ties in border areas.

The publication places particular emphasis on the dynamics of cooperation in the trade, economic, investment, and transport-logistics sectors - specifically, the expansion of industrial cooperation and major infrastructure projects of regional significance, such as the construction of the China–Kyrgyzstan–Uzbekistan railway and the joint development of the Kambarata-1 Hydropower Plant, which are shaping a new economic landscape of Central Asia.

“Diplomacy Journal” concludes that, owing to the firm political will of the Heads of State and their far-sighted foreign policy, relations between Tashkent and Bishkek have become a vital factor for stability, security, and sustainable development, not only for the two nations but for the entire Central Asian region as a whole.
