“AJP” Agency: Representatives from nearly 20 countries participate in the Samarkand Sister Cities Forum

SEOUL, July 29. /Dunyo IA/. South Korean news agency “AJP” published an article about the first International Sister Cities Forum held in Samarkand on July 24–25th, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
According to the agency, the forum opened with a conference titled “Sister Cities: A New Model of Sustainable Development and Public Diplomacy”, which brought together experts, government officials and diplomats from around 20 countries.
As noted in the publication, the conference was structured around a plenary session and three thematic sessions focusing on trade and investment cooperation, science and innovations, as well as tourism.
Forum's program also included panel discussions and signing ceremonies for agreements between the sister cities.
Agency emphasizes that the initiatives put forward will form the foundation for new joint projects across economy, education, tourism and culture.
