JEDDAH, June 23. /Dunyo IA/.  Consulate General of Uzbekistan organized a presentation in the city of Jeddah with the participation of around 40 representatives of major Saudi media outlets and bloggers, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The event featured video presentations showcasing Uzbekistan's rich historical heritage, modern infrastructure, medical and educational tourism opportunities, and national traditions, alongside ongoing government-led reforms. Additionally, culinary specialists from the Mecca-based “UzbekFoods” restaurant hosted a live demonstration of traditional Uzbek cuisine.

The participants, including Saudi journalists and bloggers, noted that the presentation completely transformed their perception of Uzbekistan. They highlighted that the rich flavours of traditional cuisine, the country's high level of safety, cultural traditions, natural landscapes and the visa-free entry for Saudi citizens have significantly heightened interest in the country.

Concluding the meeting, the guests expressed their readiness to visit Uzbekistan and actively promote its tourism potential across social media platforms.
