YEKATERINBURG, September 6. /Dunyo IA/.  Diplomats from the Consulate General of Uzbekistan, alongside officials from the Migration Agency, held a meeting with fellow citizens temporarily employed at the “MonolitStroy” construction company, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Meeting was organized on the occasion of the 35th Anniversary of the Independence of Uzbekistan. The compatriots were congratulated on the holiday and briefed on the state’s ongoing measures to protect the rights of citizens residing abroad.

Participants were reminded of the strict necessity to adhere to Russian legislation, workplace safety requirements and the terms of their employment contracts. In the event of salary delays, contract violations, or instances of forced labour, they were strongly advised to contact the hotline of the Consulate General.

Furthermore, the citizens received detailed briefings on the regulations governing their stay in Russia and personal safety measures, including protocol guidelines in the event of drone attacks.
