KABUL, June 19. /Dunyo IA/. Afghan political experts and analysts have welcomed the statements made by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev during the Tashkent International Investment Forum, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Afghanistan’s leading broadcaster “Tolo News” extensively covered the President’s remarks, highlighting Uzbekistan’s active efforts to implement the Trans-Afghan Corridor project aimed at securing access to southern seaports.

According to Afghan experts, the Trans-Afghan Corridor has evolved beyond a transit initiative into a strategic economic project designed to connect Central Asia with global markets.

Political analyst Mirshakib Mir noted that the project could generate additional revenue for Afghanistan, stimulate economic growth, create jobs, and strengthen the country’s role as a bridge between Central and South Asia.

Representatives of Afghanistan’s business community also welcomed the Uzbek leader’s address. Muhammad Nabi Afghan, a participant in the forum, stated that the Afghan delegation’s attendance reflected the growing partnership between Kabul and Tashkent, particularly in trade, transit, energy, and the implementation of the Trans-Afghan Corridor.
