“Financia Digital News”: Middle Corridor contributes to diversification of the Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan

ISLAMABAD, July 29. /Dunyo IA/. Pakistani online publication “Financia Digital News” has published an article dedicated to the prospects for developing transport and logistics cooperation within the “Central Asia + Azerbaijan” format, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Publication notes that this format has significant economic potential due to Azerbaijan’s key role as a transit hub connecting Central Asia with the South Caucasus, Türkiye and Europe. Particular attention is paid to the development of the Middle Corridor, which is considered an important route for diversifying transport routes and strengthening the resilience of Uzbekistan’s foreign trade.

The publication also highlights the dynamic development of Uzbek-Azerbaijani trade and economic cooperation. In particular, between 2017 and 2025, the volume of bilateral trade increased 9.5 times, reaching 307.3 million US dollars.

According to “Financia Digital News”, Uzbekistan’s participation in the development of the Middle Corridor opens up additional opportunities for expanding exports, attracting investment in transport and logistics infrastructure, as well as strengthening trade ties with Azerbaijan, Georgia, Türkiye and the countries of the European Union.
