LENINSK-KUZNETSKY, August 11. /Dunyo IA/. Consul General of Uzbekistan in Novosibirsk Aslam Akbarov visited a compatriot, B.T., who is undergoing treatment in the neurosurgery department of the Kuzbass Clinical Center for Miners' Health Protection, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Consul General familiarized himself with the patient's condition and spoke with her attending physician.

According to the physician, the compatriot sustained injuries to four vertebrae, ribs, a foot, and a knee as a result of a fall from a height. She underwent two emergency surgical procedures on her spine and knee joint, and the necessary specialized medical devices were implanted to stabilize her motor function.

Currently, the patient's condition is assessed as stable. According to the medical staff, there is no threat to her life.

Furthermore, in cooperation with the General Consulate and the representative office of the Migration Agency of Uzbekistan in Novosibirsk, measures are being taken to arrange the air transport of the compatriot to Tashkent for the continuation of her treatment in Uzbekistan.
