TASHKENT, October 7. /Dunyo IA/. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, participated in the regular meeting of the CIS Council of Foreign Ministers in Turkmenistan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

“Participated in the regular meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the CIS in Turkmenistan’s national tourist zone of Avaza, – the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram-channel. – During the meetings in both restricted and expanded formats, we had a detailed exchange of views with our colleagues on pressing issues of the international and regional agenda, as well as prospects for further developing multilateral cooperation within the CIS.

Discussed preparations for the upcoming meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of State.

We put forward a number of proposals and initiatives aimed at expanding trade and economic ties, developing efficient transport and logistics chains, enhancing humanitarian and youth exchanges, advancing digital cooperation, and jointly addressing contemporary security challenges and threats”.
