TASHKENT, October 2. /Dunyo IA/.  Today, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov held negotiations with Danish Minister of Foreign Affairs Lars Løkke Rasmussen, who arrived in our country on a visit, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

“Pleased to welcome Danish Minister of Foreign Affairs H.E. Lars Løkke Rasmussen to Uzbekistan today, - Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram-channel. - A number of important events are planned as part of the visit, including bilateral meetings and a roundtable discussion with representatives of the Uzbek and Danish business communities.

During the talks with my counterpart, we noted that Denmark is one of Uzbekistan’s promising partners in Europe.

Discussed a wide range of promising areas for cooperation, including strengthening political dialogue, developing “green” economy, expanding scientific exchanges.

Particular attention was paid to further developing economic ties through investment and industrial cooperation. We are interested in advancing joint projects with Danish companies across various sectors”.
