TASHKENT, September 21. /Dunyo IA/. President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has sent a letter to President of Russia Vladimir Putin, in which he cordially congratulated him on the successful holding of elections to the State Duma of the Federal Assembly, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

“The Head of our state noted that the recent elections once again clearly demonstrated the high political culture and civic consolidation of Russian society, – Sherzod Asadov, the press secretary of the President of Uzbekistan, wrote on his Telegram-channel. – The record turnout and voting results are evidence of the high confidence and unconditional support of Russian citizens for the strategic course being implemented under the leadership of President Vladimir Putin, aimed at continuing the socio-economic development of the country and protecting national interests.

The President of Uzbekistan noted with deep satisfaction the unprecedented high dynamics of relations of comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance between the two countries. It was emphasized that interparliamentary cooperation, which occupies a special place in multifaceted relations, will continue to contribute to the successful implementation of bilateral projects and programs.

Confidence was expressed that through joint efforts it will be possible to give a powerful impetus to comprehensive Uzbek-Russian cooperation, to fill it with new initiatives for the prosperity of countries and the well-being of peoples.

In conclusion, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev wished President Vladimir Putin good health and new successes in government activities, and peace, prosperity and progress to the friendly people of Russia.”
