NOVOSIBIRSK, September 21. /Dunyo IA/.  On September 15–20^th, another business mission of entrepreneurs from the Altai Krai of the Russian Federation to Uzbekistan took place, organized by the Consulate General of our country in Novosibirsk, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Business mission comprised representatives of eight major companies from the region: “Altai ECO Sort” LLC (agricultural products), “Altaitexmash” LLC (sawmilling equipment), “Amfood” LLC (food products), “Barnaul Chemical Plant” LLC (tire repair materials), “Veles Opt” LLC (lumber), “Renaissance Cosmetic” LLC (household chemicals), “Galen Pharmaceutical Plant” LLC (dietary supplements and cosmetics) and “Alfit” LLC (dietary supplements and cosmetics), all seeking to intensify cooperation with Uzbekistan.

Members of the Russian delegation held negotiations at the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in Uzbekistan, Tashkent office of the “Russian Export Center” JSC and with the executives of Uzbek companies, including “Yoshlik Y” LLC, “Grand Pharm” LLC, “Dori-Darmon” JSC, as well as enterprises operating in the fields of household chemicals, food production and other sectors.

Participants received up-to-date information regarding economic cooperation between the two countries, the specifics of exporting products to Uzbekistan, as well as the establishment of joint ventures with our country for manufacturing products, particularly in the medicinal cosmetics sector.

Notably, during the negotiations at “Grand Pharm” LLC, the representative of the “Alfit” company, Evgeniya Ermolenko, expressed a firm intention not only to conclude a contract for joint product manufacturing but also to transition directly to the process of localizing the production of medicinal cosmetics and dietary supplements within the territory of Uzbekistan.

This matter was also addressed during a meeting at the Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency, where the parties discussed fundamental steps for developing mutually beneficial cooperation between the Agency and the “Alfit” company, namely - establishment of a joint venture by the end of 2027 to manufacture products, including those derived from domestic raw materials.

Separate meetings were also held between the representative of the “Alfit” company and “Aero Pharm” Group, “DRUG PROMOTION” LLC, “Pharma Cosmos” LLC and “Young Pharm” LLC, focusing on the issues of establishing mutually beneficial cooperation and the entry of the aforementioned Altai company into the market of Uzbekistan.

It should be particularly noted that the core of imports from Uzbekistan to the Altai Krai consists of fruit and vegetable products, which have well-proven themselves in this commodity segment and enjoy stable demand in the market of this region of the Russian Federation.

Furthermore, Uzbekistan supplies cotton, finished textile products, knitted fabrics and chemical fibres to the Altai Krai.
