Foreign Ministers of Uzbekistan and Russia meet in Moscow

TASHKENT, April 17. /Dunyo IA/. Today, Bakhtiyor Saidov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, held talks with Sergey Lavrov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, in Moscow, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
“Today in Moscow, we held a warm and productive meeting with H.E. Sergey Lavrov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, - the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram-channel. - We paid particular attention to the practical implementation of the agreements reached at the highest level in the context of further deepening 🇺🇿🇷🇺 strategic partnership and alliance.
Noted with satisfaction the intensity of contacts across all areas. The volume of bilateral trade is steadily growing, significant industrial cooperation projects are being implemented, cultural and humanitarian ties are expanding.
Specially focused on advancing cooperation in education, innovation, infrastructure, interregional engagement, and other priority areas.
We also discussed measures to promote mutual investments and to intensify business contacts between Uzbekistan and Russia.
Exchanged our views on regional and international issues.
The Ministries of Foreign Affairs of both countries will continue to facilitate the further strengthening of mutually beneficial cooperation”.
