“24.kg”: Uzbekistan proposes creating an interconnected network of national data centers in Central Asian countries

BISHKEK, October 9. /Dunyo IA/.   An article covering the initiatives put forward by the President of Uzbekistan at the Eighth Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia and Azerbaijan, held in Turkmenistan, has been published by Kyrgyzstan’s prominent news agency “24.kg”, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Article outlines the Head of State’s proposals to pool the capabilities of Central Asian countries and establish a common computing infrastructure based on an interconnected network of national data centers.

It also highlights the Uzbek leader’s views on launching joint training programmes, supporting scientific research and creating greater opportunities for technological entrepreneurship.

According to the publication, linking the computing capacities of data centers would enable more efficient use of computing resources and provide an important foundation for major artificial intelligence projects.
