“InfoRA News”: Samarkand Conference strengthens cooperation among Brother Cities

ISLAMABAD, July 29. /Dunyo IA/. An article dedicated to the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Samarkand hosted an international scientific and practical conference on “Brother Cities: A new model for sustainable development and public diplomacy” held in Samarkand has been published in the Pakistani publication “InfoRA News”, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

As noted in the publication, during the conference in Samarkand, experts paid particular attention to the further development of cooperation among Brother Cities and strengthening the mechanisms of people-to-people diplomacy, exchanging proposals and initiatives in this area.

Event brought together specialists from around 20 foreign countries, representatives of foreign embassies accredited in Uzbekistan and international organizations, state and public institutions, higher education institutions, as well as media representatives.

Conference placed particular emphasis on strengthening friendship, harmony, and cultural and humanitarian ties among cities based on people-to-people diplomacy.

Within the framework of the event, participants discussed the implementation of joint projects in the fields of culture, education, tourism, economy, ecology and innovation, as well as the exchange of experience and the development of mutually beneficial cooperation.
