Israeli “Channel 14”: Uzbekistan is becoming an increasingly attractive country for international investments

TEL AVIV, July 8. /Dunyo IA/.    Israeli television station “Channel 14” has broadcasted a special report produced by its correspondent, dedicated to the 5th Tashkent International Investment Forum, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Within the program, particular emphasis was placed on the dynamic development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Israel, with the primary focus directed toward the high-level events held within the framework of the Tashkent International Investment Forum.

As the author of the report noted, the forum has once again confirmed that Uzbekistan is becoming an increasingly attractive destination for international investments.

According to the television channel, this year’s forum was attended by over 8,300 participants from more than 100 countries. It is highlighted that representatives from thousands of companies with combined total assets exceeding 42 trillion dollars participated in the event. On air, these metrics were evaluated as firm confirmation that Uzbekistan is transforming into a pivotal investment platform for the international business community.

The report notes that Uzbekistan is systematically executing structural economic reforms, accelerating macroeconomic growth through optimized natural resource utilization and a strategic improvement of its investment climate. Additionally, the coverage highlights the nation’s focus on mobilizing foreign direct investment, with a particular emphasis on attracting Israeli capital.

Alongside economic cooperation, the program paid particular attention to the country's tourism potential. Television viewers were informed of the rich historical and cultural heritage of Tashkent and Samarkand, their significance in the history of the Great Silk Road civilization, as well as the cultural heritage of the Bukharian Jews.

In conclusion, the television channel noted that the forum had once again demonstrated Uzbekistan's open economic policy, its efforts to attract investments, and the country's status as a pivotal investment and business hub in Central Asia.
