Uzbek Family left in distressed circumstances in Vladivostok Repatriated to their homeland

VLADIVOSTOK, July 8. /Dunyo IA/. Diplomatic missions of Uzbekistan abroad continue to systematically provide comprehensive support to citizens of the country who find themselves in distressed circumstances outside their homeland, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Specifically, a citizen of Uzbekistan, M.R., who was temporarily residing in the Primorsky Krai, contacted the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Vladivostok. She reported that, together with her minor child born in 2023, she found herself in an extremely difficult situation, left without means of subsistence or housing. The compatriot requested practical assistance in returning to her homeland.

According to the information from the Consulate General, the woman arrived in Russia's Primorsky Krai in 2025 to join her spouse. In June of the current year, her husband was detained by law enforcement officials for engaging in illegal labour activities and, by a court decision, was deported to Uzbekistan. Left without the support of the head of the family, the woman was unable to cover the costs of temporary housing, food, and the essential needs of her young child through her own earnings, consequently leaving the family in distressed financial circumstances.

To expedite the resolution of the situation and provide vital aid to the family, the Consulate General took all necessary measures. Funded by the Special Allocation of the Migration Agency, the family was provided with air tickets for the “Vladivostok – Tashkent” route.

Escorted by the staff of the Consulate General, the compatriots safely departed from Vladivostok International Airport and successfully returned to Uzbekistan.
