MOSCOW, April 14. /Dunyo IA/. Embassy of Uzbekistan has organized a vibrant and informative presentation of our country’s tourism potential on advertising screens along the busy streets of the Russian capital, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
From April 1 to April 30, 2026, “Welcome to Uzbekistan” videos will be broadcast 24/7 on 10 digital city boards and super-sites installed along the central and busiest streets of Moscow.
An effective advertising campaign, driven by an understanding of the audience and the specifics of the location, will introduce residents and guests of the capital to Uzbekistan’s rich cultural heritage and unique architecture - everything that makes our country particularly attractive to travellers.
It is worth noting that, according to the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR), Uzbekistan is increasingly becoming a top choice for Russian tourists, with tour operators already actively developing summer programs and expanding flight networks.
As a reminder, in 2025, the tourist flow from Russia approached 1 million people. In January-February of this year alone, approximately 125,000 trips were recorded. This growth is also supported by transport accessibility, with the number of flights between the two countries approaching 500 per week.
The primary areas of interest include the country’s rich cultural heritage, its ancient architectural landmarks, its renowned cuisine, and the steady development of new tourism segments, including active travel, “vitamin” (wellness-oriented nature retreats) and health tourism.
