Samarkand region and Bavaria establish joint centers to train tourism and service specialists according to German standards

SAMARKAND, April 13. /Dunyo IA/. A German delegation led by Bavaria’s State Minister for European and International Affairs, Eric Beißwenger, visited Samarkand, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
During the meeting between the Khokim of the Samarkand Region, Adiz Boboev, and the German Minister, both sides confirmed their mutual readiness to expand ties. Eric Beißwenger emphasized Bavaria's high demand for qualified specialists. Consequently, the key topic of the negotiations was the establishment of joint centers for personnel training according to German standards.
Adiz Boboev assured the German partners of his readiness to provide Bavarian investors with all necessary infrastructure and incentives to implement business initiatives. Projects in the tourism sector aimed at increasing the mutual flow of travellers between the regions were also discussed.
A key part of the program was a visit to the “Profi Deutsch” center, where the State Minister observed the German language training process and the administration of international TELC exams. The high assessment of the quality of youth training formed the basis for new agreements.
The visit concluded with the signing of a five-year memorandum of cooperation. The document was signed by the heads of the German organization “bbw International”, regional vocational education department, the “Profi Deutsch” center and the German-Uzbek Economic Cooperation Bureau “DUWK Büro”.
The partnership will focus on training world-class specialists in the fields of hospitality, tourism, and gastronomy. The signed document is intended not only to strengthen economic cooperation but also to open new opportunities for international professional growth for Uzbek youth.
