BEIJING, June 5. /Dunyo IA/.  On June 4, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bobur Usmanov met with Li Xuexiong, Vice President of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in Beijing, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the information of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, the Chinese side particularly noted the positive momentum in cooperation between the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and interested partner institutions of Uzbekistan. In particular, it was highlighted that during the visit of the President of the Academy, Gao Xiang, to Uzbekistan, a library of Xi Jinping’s works was opened at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, and cooperation was established between the University of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.

The parties also noted that the establishment of partnerships between the Institute of History of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, as well as between the Institute of Law of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the Institute of Legislation and Legal Policy under the President of Uzbekistan, is currently under consideration.

In this context, an agreement was reached with Li Xuexiong to deepen cooperation between analytical think tanks, promote scientific and educational collaboration, and jointly train specialists in the field of public administration.
