ABU DHABI, July 13. /Dunyo IA/.   Ambassador of Uzbekistan Umid Shodiev, held negotiations with the leadership of one of the UAE’s largest logistics enterprises, “AD Ports Group”, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Parties discussed prospects for expanding Uzbek-Emirati cooperation in transport and logistics, developing modern logistical infrastructure and implementing new investment projects.

Particular attention was paid to developing Uzbekistan’s transport and transit potential, ongoing logistical reforms within the country and strengthening the republic's role in international transport corridors.

Management of “AD Ports Group” - one of the world's leading global operators in port infrastructure, logistics, maritime shipping and economic zone management expressed strong interest in implementing promising projects in Uzbekistan and confirmed its readiness to review new initiatives aimed at expanding bilateral cooperation.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue working in coordination with the relevant ministries and agencies of Uzbekistan to explore investment opportunities, prepare joint projects and modernize transport and logistics infrastructure.
