Uzbekistan and UK Sign Memorandum of Understanding After London Talks

TASHKENT, February 27. /Dunyo IA/. Yesterday, in London, the Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, met with the UK Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, Yvette Cooper, for high-level talks, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
“Together with H.E. Yvette Cooper, UK Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, we held in-depth and forward-looking discussions on further expanding and elevating our strategic partnership, - the head of the MFA of Uzbekistan wrote in his Telegram-channel. - The talks focused on advancing comprehensive bilateral cooperation across priority areas, including trade and investment, sustainable infrastructure development, energy cooperation, and regional connectivity.
We signed MOUs aimed at accelerating practical, results-oriented collaboration through the implementation of joint projects, the effective use of green finance instruments, and the expansion of educational and academic exchanges”.
