ISLAMABAD, March 10. /Dunyo IA/.  On the popular Pakistani television channel “24 News HD”, the next episode of the Ramadan program “Noor-e-Ramzan” was dedicated to Uzbekistan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The program is broadcast live in Pakistan daily during iftar. A special episode featured representatives from the Embassy of Uzbekistan, as well as the Tourism Brand Ambassador of Uzbekistan, Hamid Mahmood Chaudhry.

During the show, discussions focused on prospects for cooperation between Uzbekistan and Pakistan in tourism, hospitality and cultural heritage. It was emphasized that the historical and spiritual ties between the two countries date back to the era of the Great Silk Road.

Viewers were also introduced to Uzbekistan’s Ramadan traditions, including communal iftars, charitable initiatives and spiritual values. Additionally, the program highlighted opportunities for pilgrimage tourism and the rich historical heritage of Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva and Tashkent.

It was noted that these sacred sites and historical cities attract thousands of pilgrims and tourists from all over the world every year. In 2025, more than 30,000 passengers utilized flights between the two countries, and over 18,000 tourists from Pakistan visited Uzbekistan.

As part of the program, videos dedicated to the historical and cultural shrines of Uzbekistan were showcased.

Furthermore, the Uzbek guests prepared a national dish - Tashkent wedding plov. A masterclass on cooking Uzbek somsa was held, and the traditions of preparing national sweets - nisholda, sumalak, Kokand halva, and chak-chak - were shared. At the conclusion of the program, the freshly prepared pilaf was served for iftar.

It is worth noting that the “24 News HD” YouTube channel has approximately 9.5 million subscribers, while its Facebook and Instagram pages have over 1 million followers.
