SAINT PETERSBURG, February 26. /Dunyo IA/. A ceremonial event was held at the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Saint Petersburg to award the “Jasorat” Medal to fellow countryman Khayrullo Ibadullaev, reports Dunyo IA reports.
The ceremony at the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Saint Petersburg was attended by Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to Russia, Botirjon Asadov, consulate staff, fellow countrymen and representatives of Russian media outlets.
During the award presentation, Ambassador Botirjon Asadov highlighted that by decree of the President of Uzbekistan, Khayrullo Ibadullaev was awarded the “Jasorat” Medal for his courageous and selfless actions in an extraordinary and complex situation in Saint Petersburg. Ibadullaev risked his life to save a young child who was falling from the upper floor of a multi-story building.
The Ambassador emphasized that the “Jasorat” Medal, granted for acts of heroism, carries special significance in promoting bravery and selflessness among citizens, inspiring them to perform good deeds and contribute to society.
