TASHKENT, June 11. /Dunyo IA/. Today, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, met with the President of Algeria, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

“Pleased to be received by H.E. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, President of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, - the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram-channel. - At the outset of the meeting, we conveyed the sincere greetings and best wishes of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, H.E. Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

Explored ways to elevate Uzbekistan–Algeria relations to a new level. We exchanged views on enhancing political dialogue, expanding trade, economic and investment cooperation, and strengthening cultural and humanitarian ties.

Also discussed current regional and international issues, as well as prospects for cooperation within international organizations.

Highly appreciate the strong commitment of the Algerian leadership to advancing relations with Uzbekistan. Building on the foundations of mutual trust and friendship, we stand ready to continue our joint efforts to enrich our multifaceted partnership with new substance and translate it into tangible results”.
