President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visits the Chirchik Aircraft Repair Plant

ТASHKENT, January 13. /Dunyo IA/.  Today, upon completing an expanded meeting of the Security Council, President of Uzbekistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited “Chirchik Aircraft Repair Plant” state enterprise, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the press service of the Head of our State, Leader of Uzbekistan got acquainted with the results of the major modernization of the enterprise and activities of the new high-tech divisions.

The plant has established the only service center for Airbus helicopters in the CIS and our region.

The center has been officially certified by the French company Airbus, confirming its high level of production organization and compliance with international standards and the manufacturer's requirements. The center provides a full range of technical services and repairs for modern Western aircraft, including the H-125, H-215, and H-130 helicopter models.

The center allows Uzbekistan to become a key regional hub for the maintenance and operation of Airbus helicopters.

The Head of our State familiarized himself with the capabilities of the center and talked with specialists.

Here, President was also presented with the activities of the renovated factory workshops for the overhaul and deep modernization of Su-25 military aircraft. Thanks to the introduction of advanced technologies, the enterprise now equips aircraft with modern navigation systems, night vision devices and onboard self-defense systems.

Following the visit, President set tasks for further strengthening the potential of the country's defense-industrial complex.
