ТASHKENT, February 6. /Dunyo IA/.  President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev was welcomed at the official residence in Islamabad by the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Ishaq Dar, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the press service of the Head of our State, at the meeting held there, Ishaq Dar briefed the Leader of Uzbekistan on the extensive agenda of the planned bilateral events.

The President of Uzbekistan particularly noted the minister's significant contribution to the organization of the current state visit.

Confidence was expressed that the upcoming high-level talks and the first meeting of the Strategic Cooperation Council, to be held as part of the visit, would enrich the Uzbek-Pakistani strategic partnership with new practical substance.
