Mother and Child repatriated to Uzbekistan with the Assistance of the Embassy in Poland

WARSAW, August 7. /Dunyo IA/. Representatives of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Warsaw provided assistance to a compatriot and her minor son, who found themselves in a difficult life situation abroad, in returning to their Homeland, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to available information, a citizen of Uzbekistan, D.M., who resided in Warsaw, applied to the Embassy with a request for assistance in returning to Uzbekistan along with her minor son.

It is reported that the native of the Karakul district gave birth to a son on the territory of Ukraine. In 2022, she moved to Poland along with the child, where she had been residing in Warsaw ever since.

Following the review of the application, the Embassy diplomats provided the mother and child with the necessary consular and legal assistance, issuing certificates for return to Uzbekistan.

At the time of the application, neither the mother nor the child possessed any valid identity documents. To verify their identity and issue the required documentation, data was retrieved from the archives of the consular section of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Ukraine.

In cooperation with the Migration Agency of Uzbekistan, the diplomats also organized the purchase of airline tickets for the mother and child and ensured their return to the Homeland.

Thanks to the measures taken, the compatriot, along with her son, safely arrived in Uzbekistan via the Warsaw–Tashkent route.
