NEW YORK, August 5. /Dunyo IA/. In the United States, a new informational and psychological platform, “Moslashuv markazi USA”, focused on supporting Uzbek families living abroad, has commenced its operations, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Project was initiated by fellow citizen Abdurashid Turgunov, a resident of the State of Ohio, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor and practicing psychologist.

Primary goal of the platform is to help families better adapt to life in the United States, preserve mutual understanding between spouses, parents and children, as well as timely prevent domestic and family conflicts.

According to the project's initiator, many difficulties in families arise not from a lack of love or mutual respect, but due to a shortage of necessary skills. People do not always know how to calmly discuss emerging issues, correctly express their feelings, listen to one another and find constructive solutions in difficult life situations.

Platform regularly publishes materials dedicated to effective communication between spouses, managing emotions, raising children, resolving family conflicts, the impact of migration on family relationships, as well as issues of compliance with U.S. legislation in the field of family relations.

Special attention is paid to practical recommendations that help fellow citizens adapt faster to life in a new country, maintain a favourable atmosphere in the family and timely seek the necessary assistance.

Moving to another country is often accompanied by significant psychological stress. A new language environment, changes in lifestyle, financial issues, and the absence of a familiar social circle can negatively impact family relationships. In this regard, such initiatives acquire particular relevance for the Uzbek diaspora in the U.S.

Work of the platform aligns with the activities carried out by the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in New York to facilitate the adaptation of fellow citizens, strengthen the institution of the family, and preserve traditional family values. Close cooperation is maintained in these areas with the project's initiator, Abdurashid Turgunov, aimed at expanding informational and educational work among citizens of Uzbekistan residing in the United States.
