TASHKENT, March 3. /Dunyo IA/. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, held a telephone conversation today with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

“Had a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran H.E. Dr. Seyed Abbas Araghchi, - the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram-channel. - Extended condolences over the loss of civilian lives and conveyed our compassion to the families affected by the recent events.

Discussed with my colleague the evolving regional situation, noting that any further escalation could entail grave humanitarian and security consequences.

Reaffirmed our consistent and principled position that all differences and disputes must be resolved exclusively through peaceful means, dialogue and diplomacy”.
