ТASHKENT, January 14. /Dunyo IA/. Yesterday, the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Afghanistan Ismatulla Irgashev met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Latvia to Uzbekistan Girts Jaunzems, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the information of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, during the conversation, the sides discussed the key areas of bilateral cooperation, as well as prospective areas of trade and economic, transport and logistics, and cultural and humanitarian interaction in the context of Afghanistan.

Girts Jaunzems expressed hope for the further strengthening of bilateral cooperation and the continuation of constructive dialogue on the Afghan track.
