TASHKENT, June 11. /Dunyo IA/. A charter flight from the United States landed at Tashkent International Airport at 4 a.m. today, carrying 24 citizens of Uzbekistan who were deported for violating U.S. migration laws, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The repatriation of the citizens was the result of coordinated interaction between the competent authorities of Uzbekistan and the United States. Within the framework of bilateral cooperation, all organizational and legal procedures, including the identification of citizens, processing of documents and ensuring safe transportation, were swiftly aligned and resolved.
Uzbekistan consistently continues its interaction with foreign partners on migration issues, including the prevention of migration law violations and the protection of the rights of Uzbek citizens abroad.
To recall, on May 12th, 20 citizens of Uzbekistan were returned to Tashkent from Stockholm via a charter flight.
