PRAGUE, June 10. /Dunyo IA/. Diplomats from the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the Czech Republic represented Uzbekistan at the popular international gastronomic and cultural event, the “Embassy Food Festival”, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Within the framework of the festival, guests were presented with traditional Uzbek dishes and sweets, including plov, somsa, and other national treats. The Uzbek stand was decorated with national flags, tourism brochures, traditional adras and atlas fabrics, chapans, souvenirs, as well as traditional musical instruments - the rubab and doira. Furthermore, special photo zones were set up to visually promote the tourism and cultural heritage of Uzbekistan.

The event was attended by approximately 15,000 people, including local residents, foreign tourists, members of the diplomatic corps, and compatriots residing in the Czech Republic. Uzbekistan's debut participation in this festival drew significant interest from the guests. Throughout the entire event, the Uzbek stand experienced high visitor activity, reaffirming once again the substantial interest in our country's national cuisine, culture and tourism opportunities.

Photo and video materials prepared following the festival were widely circulated on the “Instagram” and “Facebook” social networks, thanks to Uzbek bloggers and public activists.

During the event, meetings were held with the festival organizers to discuss prospects for expanding Uzbekistan's participation in cultural and craft projects implemented in the Czech Republic.

Participation in the “Embassy Food Festival” contributed to the popularization of national cuisine and culture, the promotion of Uzbekistan's tourism potential, the intensification of interaction with diaspora representatives, and the further strengthening of our country's positive image in the Czech Republic.
