ASHGABAT, May 17. /Dunyo IA/. A solemn award ceremony for the winners of the international equestrian competitions, who received the main prizes of the President of Uzbekistan, was held at "Tashkent" Park in the capital city, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Event was attended by representatives of state and public organizations, members of the diplomatic corps, equestrian and horse-breeding specialists, as well as members of the wider public.

During the ceremony, a congratulatory message from Serdar Berdimuhamedov to the participants and winners of the competitions was read out.

The message highlighted the international “Pearl of the East” competitions held in Tashkent, as well as the beauty contest of Akhal-Teke horses, as important events that further strengthened the bonds of friendship and brotherhood between the Uzbek and Turkmen peoples.

It was also emphasized that the ceremonial events held simultaneously at "Tashkent" Park in Ashgabat and "Ashgabat Park" in Tashkent vividly demonstrate that relations between the two countries are being enriched with new substance and content.

Participants of the event noted that the international competitions contribute to the further development of cultural and humanitarian cooperation between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.

The ceremony concluded with national cultural performances and a concert program.
