Game was conducted by the Uzbek Students' Union in the UK (UzSU) and the “Uzbek Society” at the university. The event aimed to unite Uzbek youth studying in the United Kingdom, demonstrate their intellectual and creative potential, widely promote their native language and culture and strengthen cooperation among students.
More than 100 students studying in Birmingham, Manchester, Bristol, Liverpool, Warwick, and other UK cities participated in the intellectual competition. Divided into 16 teams, participants tested their knowledge and logical thinking. Among them were members of UzSU, fellows of the “El-Yurt Umidi” Foundation and activists of the World Association of Youth of Uzbekistan.
Competition took place in an elevated atmosphere, marked by intense and uncompromising rivalry. The teams demonstrated strong knowledge, quick thinking, and exceptional teamwork. Following the results, the winning teams were awarded certificates of honour and memorable gifts by the Embassy. A tasting of Uzbek national cuisine was also organized for the participants, lending a friendly atmosphere to the event that reflected national values.
Special significance lies in the fact that the event was hosted specifically at the University of Birmingham. Founded in 1900, it is considered the first civic university in England. Today, it stands as one of the leading research universities in the United Kingdom, consistently ranking among the top 100 universities worldwide. These results reflect the institution's quality of education, research potential, and prominent standing in international academic cooperation.
