VLADIVOSTOK, August 13. /Dunyo IA/. In Russia's Khabarovsk Krai, meetings were held between Uzbek diplomats and compatriots working at the enterprises “SZ Shante Development” and “Sever Story”, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the meetings, the working and living conditions created for compatriots were discussed, in particular matters of accommodation, catering arrangements, as well as the timely payment of wages.

Diplomats briefed the participants of the meetings on the ongoing work aimed at protecting the rights and interests of the citizens of Uzbekistan conducting labour activities abroad, as well as providing them with practical assistance.

Diplomats also clarified that various extremist and international terrorist organizations, under the guise of religious beliefs, make attempts to involve citizens in violence and radical views, as well as urge them to renounce cultural, educational, and family values.

Compatriots were urged not to succumb to the influence of such destructive ideas, to stay away from them, to maintain interethnic harmony and religious tolerance, as well as to worthily promote national culture and values.

During the conversations, the socio-political processes taking place in Uzbekistan were also discussed, along with the measures being taken to provide social, legal, material and spiritual support to the country's citizens working abroad.

During the meetings with employers, information was obtained regarding the vacancies available at the enterprises, the most sought-after specialties and the working conditions. Following the negotiations, agreements were reached on attracting compatriots to the existing vacancies across a number of specialties in accordance with the procedure established by law.

Within the framework of the events, particular attention was paid to ensuring opportunities for the citizens of Uzbekistan to work abroad in decent and safe conditions, protecting their rights and interests, as well as further developing cooperation with employers.
