LONDON, September 17. /Dunyo IA/.   As part of the visit of the delegation of Uzbekistan led by the Minister of Culture Ozodbek Nazarbekov to London, meetings were held with the heads of leading British organizations in the field of music education and industry, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

In particular, talks were held with the Artistic Director of the Royal College of Music, Andrew Moore, the Chief Executive Officer of the UK Association for Music Education “Music Mark” Jennifer McKie and the Chief Executive of “UK Music” Tom Kiehl.

Royal College of Music, founded in 1882 at the initiative of the Prince of Wales, is considered one of the most authoritative musical educational institutions in the United Kingdom and the world. In the “QS World University Rankings”, it regularly ranks first or second among the world's conservatories in the “Performing Arts” category.

During the meetings, the development of Uzbekistan's music education and industry, the introduction of international best practices, the advanced training of educators and specialists, the support for talented youth and the promotion of national musical art on the international stage were discussed.

Particular attention was paid to academic exchanges and masterclasses, the creation of grant and scholarship programs for talented youth, as well as the implementation of modern and inclusive methodologies in children's music education.

Parties also reviewed the issues of improving the copyright and royalty systems, promoting Uzbek music on digital platforms, and expanding creative cooperation with British music industry representatives within the framework of international festivals.

Following the meetings, an agreement was reached on the preparation of joint initiatives and projects, as well as the further development of practical cooperation and regular dialogue.
