London talks focus on prospects for Uzbekistan's cooperation with a leading International Education Organization

LONDON, July 9. /Dunyo IA/. Ambassador of Uzbekistan Ravshan Usmanov, held a high-level meeting with Kathryn Gordon, Co-Chief Executive Officer of the British international organization “VSO International” (Voluntary Service Overseas), reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
During the meeting, the parties agreed to advance negotiations regarding the prospective development of bilateral cooperation for the 2026–2027 academic year. Special emphasis will be placed on evaluating project efficiency, defining expected outcomes, establishing assessment frameworks and ensuring alignment with the specific needs of local educators and students.
Furthermore, the interlocutors deliberated on the prospects of implementing joint educational initiatives, with a specific focus on English language instruction and the professional development of teaching personnel.
Founded in the United Kingdom in 1958, the international organization “VSO International” operates with a mission to foster sustainable long-term socio-economic development across diverse nations by facilitating knowledge and expertise exchange through the strategic deployment of skilled volunteers.
Over the past six decades, the organization has successfully executed collaborative projects in more than 90 countries worldwide, mobilizing over 80,000 highly qualified volunteers. Its programmatic scope encompasses key sectors including education, healthcare, empowerment of women and youth entrepreneurship, agriculture and environmental protection, among other fields.
