TASHKENT, September 28. /Dunyo IA/. European Day of Languages 2026 will be held in Tashkent on September 30^th, dedicated to Europe’s linguistic and cultural diversity, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Daytime programme will take place from 10:00 to 13:00 at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University. Guests will have the opportunity to attend presentations of European languages, enjoy songs, games and quizzes, and visit the Language Fair, where they can learn more about the languages and cultures of European countries.

Evening programme, “SpeakEasy Night” will be held from 19:00 to 21:30 at the Goethe-Institut, located at 42 Amir Temur Street. The programme will feature a short-film screening and discussion, language tables and interactive games, speed networking and cultural exchange, as well as a DJ set featuring music from European countries.

Event will bring together representatives of diplomatic missions, cultural organisations and universities, as well as students and members of the wider public.
